Anybody else have Saxony's?

Had anyone noticed the females having a darker chest when they start to feather? In some light mine looks like a shade of kahki, in other light it looks Maybe reddish. But never the obvious maroon that I've seen on some. I will try to get a picture.. I'm hoping its a female. That's what i vent sexed her as at a day old. But its possible i didn't get that little male indicator to pop out...

She/he is not old enough to voice sex yet, but she hardly says boo. When she does talk she will peep peep (throw in a little attempt at a quack) and than peep peep

Does anybody have pictures of young male ducklings? I have 8, 7 week Saxony ducklings and they are all looking to be female. But these are my first ducks ever so I have no idea what to look for!

At that age they look the same,. Except the males have a Burgundy red chest

These are some pics from about a week ago. Can you tell me which ones are boys and which ones are girls? Ignore the white bird.

I think the one on the far right on the bottom picture and the one just to the left of it are males. Hard to say for sure though

Mine is growing like a weed. Still on the fence on if it is a male or female
