A friend of mine doesn't use BYC often, but she just lost all of her turkeys to a dog attach.

She is looking for hatching eggs of quality heritage breed turkeys -

Please post what you have and prices, and I'll put her in touch.

Keep looking in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum in "Other Poultry". Thats where they will be listed. It is a bit too early for turkeys to really be in season. There are very few already laying and most that are laying is due to artifical light at night so the toms aren't really breeding good so fertillity is low. By March-April they will be in full, natural breeding and you will find a bunch of eggs.

As Colby said it's a bit early yet though you can find a few who may have eggs. I have one precocious Midget White hen who has been laying all winter, but it'll be next month sometime before the rest are in the mood. Later still for the Bronzes.

My bourbons are laying and for sure mating (seen it on several occasions) - they are hatchery birds but are very healthy with good coloration.

Let me know if you are interested in some eggs from them.
