I just looked closer at my black pullet. Pic #1 and she (he) is double tufted. The little one sitting behind her is a definate male and he is double tufted too. Yeah!! for me. Now I am really really hoping for a girl. If they turn out half way decent it would be the start of a black breeding pen, even though she has red in her hackles.
Now if the two wheatens are at least only one boy. Of course I would love them to both be girls. I have soo many roos.
They seem that way to me too. I hope its not just wishful thinking. The little blue one does have more of a comb than the rest but I would love a girl and so would my blue roo that is not related.
