Araucana thread anyone?

I have a bantam roo I would be willing to part with, but I’m in south Florida and wouldn't ship him. He’s black with a lot of red leakage (looks like a BC Maran’s colors). I got him from Ann Charles this last summer. I’m only keeping my large fowl roos. Let me know if you’re anywhere near Florida...
PS, in case it’s not obvious, he is clean-faced.

Yes! Minus the tufts.
I just bought my first Araucanas this last July. I’m so excited about them. I want to breed them and Marans. If I had time I would want to spend the next 10 years developing a Maranaucana rumpless breed with gorgeous olive eggs and feathered legs!
My fav roo is also from Ann Charles. She described his color as Blue Golden Duckwing Cuckoo. She says that if I put him with my hens I will get the whole spectrum of colors...Golden Duckwing, Silver Duckwing, Blue, Blue Wheaten, Cuckoo, Blue Cuckoo, and more. Very exciting!
Now I just need to work on breeding a tufted roo!

I'm looking for a "bantam" Araucana rooster for a friend who doesn't do the internet.

Its been 4 weeks today and the kids are growing up quick! Wow, are they getting big.
I ended up with only 2 pullets and the other 4 are cockerels. I plan to keep 3 of the cockerels, one with the 2 pullets and mother hen, and two EE hens from my old flock. I'm going to keep 2 as back up in a bachelor flock.

This is Manolito. I had high hopes for him from day 1 to be my main cock. I am getting concerned about the size of his comb though - if its this big now I'm afraid what it might mature into. Definitely don't want to breed forth a big floppy comb. But he is the most mottled, and he is double tufted. His left tuft is barely visible, but it seems to be getting bigger.

I'm beginning to really like this cockerel, even though he is "plain". He is clean faced, but is showing great type, good back length, and good leg color. So far no leakage, and a nice tight comb. I call him Buck.

they are nice. if you make 2 pens you can breed tufted boy and clean faced girls and vice versa. as your girls have nice combs they will fix your boy's comb (which is not so bad).

Ooh they’re so pretty! :love
That’s it I have to get a pair of pullets from Ann Charles!

I applaud all of you amazing people for working with such a magnificent breed. :) I am in awe.
As I know breeders like to share their birds, I am sharing a thread I created seeking pictures, with your approval, to use them on a website I am creating that serves to compile the current standards of all recognized breeds and varieties in compliance with current copyright protection. The standards will be based from the SOP.
Please follow the required format if you wish to enter a photo. It is not guaranteed that your photo will be chosen. I will choose the clearest photo available.

Just can't do that. I'm in Missouri so I can't just come pick up one rooster for a friend
