Hello everyone and good morning from here in Italy. I here with this thread to ask if these two Cream legbars I got for a breeding program are male and female. From the research I've done on this awesome breed is that the male chicks are a pale grayish blue with a bit of red fluff and hens look like a brown legbar chick. However the chicks I got that are apparently a young pair seem to both be hens. I mean look at these photos of them the "male" has no crest and is very light colored like a normal male, but he has really skinny legs, is equal size to the female and has a smaller comb and waddles then the female! In really worried this breeding program might be a fail sadly. What do you guys think a pair or two sisters.

Also a side note: I was told he was an assisted hatch and was needing time to absorb the yolk sac and almost didn't make it. Si he might just be slow and his tail is the same as the female and I haven't heard him crowing at all yet.
