* If you get Rare Breeds of chickens, the state has a few different programs that will help you save some $ by giving permits and/or tax breaks on your property. They don't advertise this but they do offer it. There are guidelines as to how many you must have of a rare breed, how much space / land you have to have, what you plan to do with the breed, as well as any extra eggs you have, etc. Email me - [email protected]. Im not a chicken breeder but I have a rooster in need of a good home


I have a Plymouth Rock Rooster that needs a good home. I have two puppies that I am training to be service dogs and they love to go in his coop and terrorize him. Its not fair to my poor Devlynn! That is why I am giving Devlynn to a good home where dogs wont attack him. I have no need for a rooster at the moment. And he is very much show quality! He gets along with hens but not other roosters. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona.
