The way I always figure it is that if they start at 95, and you lower the temp by 5 degrees per week, at some point the lowered temperature will reach you ambient low. That is when I would remove the heat lamp. At 6 1/2 weeks, the brooding temperature would be 65, so if the weather is going to be below that, I would give heat.
