Hey guys,

Hope you all had a good weekend. I think one of our Silkies is getting ready to lay us our first egg. One of them is digging down and making what looks to be a nest inside the coop. She's ignoring the nesting box for now though. Sikies are daft. I love em.

Can't wait to get our first fresh backyard egg. Will post a pic as soon as we get one

Just thought I'd pop in, introduce and say hello.

My Poultry:
I have 27 eggs in the incubator, 6 chicks in the brooder (Sebright and Silkie), 6 Isa Browns, 2 cross-bred Roosters and 3 Guineas. Also a smattering of dogs and cats, but who counts them?

Just quickly to Sydney Quailman, what type of quails do you breed?
