B Chicken Farm

We found a wonderful home with a lady who runs a chicken rescue for the little crossbeak. She picked her up today and us going to syringe feed her. She has done this before with other crossbeak chickens. I am very glad that the chick will get the care she needs.

Update: our number if chickens is 45.
1 rooster, 18 laying Hens.
3- 10 wk old EE chicks
4- 5 wk old Dominant coppers pullets
5- 5 wk old Blue EE pullets
1- 4 wk EE that we hatched ourselves

7- 9 day old Lavender Ameracaunas (5 pullets, 2 cockerels)
6- 9 day old Biefenhelder pullets

So overall that is 45 chickens. Ranging in age from 9 days to 6 years old.

I put 21 Easter Egger eggs in the incubator thus morning. They should hatch the day before Easter.

Today we went to the sheep and goat auction.

We got a set of twin lambs with their mother. Another lamb with his mother. And 5 LaMancha goat kids. We went for lambs and came back with 5 sheep and 5 kids...
I will get better photos of the goat kids.

Our first Biefehelder x Aracauna chick hatched tonight! We have 2 more that have pipped. I am so excited. I wanted to get a photo of it coming out of the egg, but I didn't.
