At least one baby hatched so far! I saw peek out from under her! Dont know abouy others yet!

Congrats to you and Momma. Broody's with babies are awesome to watch when they leave the nest to venture.

There's a chuckle. So true.
I've had 2 broody's so far and my last one was spot on ornery. To make matters better she didn't want to get off her eggs at first. Stressful 3 or 4 days til she finally did. Then a rush to clean before she got back and tore me limb from limb.
Wouldn't change it for the world 19 weeks later

4 now! 1 wiggled back inder mom before i could get the pic. Just 1 more to worry about.

Oh no! Something told me to go back out and check on them...one was in the little run. The poor thing wasnt moving. It was standing up but not moving. . I picked it up and it cheaped and moved its wings. I put it back under mom and shut the coop door. I hope it will be ok. Its cold out. Well 52.

All 5 hatched and accounted for! They all look fluffy and great! Even the adventurous one. I mitigated the ramp issue by stuffing a bunch of straw under and making like a ramp of straw going up so they cant fall out or get under it and should also be able to find their way back up easier if they do wander.
