BABY CHICK, HATCHED TODAY, BUGS

I went to the coop and a baby chick had hatched today...when I turned it over I saw Gray bugs on it moving dast the size of lice.....what are they and how do I treat it??? tHIS IS THE SAME CHICK IN BOTH PICS. i HAD SURGERY ON MY RIGHT HAND AND ITS HARD TO MANUEVERE. Hope cure is easy.

I know that when our dog had worms they looked like rice, or little maggots and the vets said that they were tape worms. Have no idea if that's what they are just telling my experience with worms.

looks like a grain of rice but doesnt move wormy actually moves like a bug- tape worms will look like rice and when they move curl and sqirim-

Some suggest Sevin Dust, others DE. There seems to be great debate. Regardless, I think you need to look into treatment for mites/lice and decide which you feel comfortable with and begin treatment sooner that later. This chick didn't have mites inside the egg, which means unfortunately, you have to treat everyone and change out bedding. Good luck
