Don't sorry about it. Mine have red combs too. And I have an orangey colored comb too

Could definitely be the breeds and the way I could tell one of mine was a roo was by comparing to chicks of the same age and breed and how much bigger and redder the comb was. The others still have (light) reddish combs just not nearly as dark as his...

I got my chicks today 3 of them were from the welp hatchery assorted bantam bin - any help/ideas on breeds? I think the chipmunk might be a Dutch of some kind?

The little white one might be a D'Uccle?

The black and white one might be a Cochin or brahma? Has a bronze patch on the top of the head.

This sweet girl is a California white:
