Baby gosling questions

I have 2 baby geese 1 male african gosling named will and 1 female white chinese gosling named grace...they hatched may 22nd...so they r almost a month old.....but no feathers r starting to my knowledge I look at them multiple times a day they keep free choice starter all day and night they r now almost as tall as my rhode island red hens ...r they behind or ahead or about normal...they r still peeping alot....alot of what I have read says by 3 weeks theynshould have feathers starting and should hear the occasional baby goose honk...all I am seeing is fluff and hearing is baby peeps no baby honks...help...I am posting a pic of themni just took with my phone...they r living outside in a movable chicken tractor with a lot they have a headlamp and a boxed in area that holds the lamp where if they r cold they can go get warmView attachment 3548223View attachment 3548227View attachment 3548230

I have Pilgrims that are about the same age as yours, and they're partially feathered at this point and making pre-honking sounds that remind me of quacking. Another group that's about 6 weeks old is mostly feathered now.

That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your goslings' growth. I don't know what the temperatures are like where you live, but I was able to put my goslings outside at 2 weeks old (in a secure pen) because it's warm enough. Is it possible that they don't need the heat lamp at this point? Also, are you providing supplemental niacin?

It is 70s and higher during the day and drops to between 50 and 60 at night...and yes I provide nonplussed niacin powder water Dailey all day and brewers yeast in their food...the heat lamp is out there at night for if they chill but most nights they r laid together outside 5he heatlamp hut and in the unheated hut
