Good Morning,

I noticed this morning that my 6 week old silkie is having trouble standing up, I picked her up into my hand and she was laying down shaking. I than put her back down and tried to get her to drink some water she put some pressure on her legs which than made me think she didnt sprain or break one. She than rolled to her side and closed her eyes, i tried a few more times just to see if her legs are weak and she lets her face fall into the woodchips. Does anyone have advice as to what could be going on? Thank you !

Ashley

Any photos or video of her actions?
What type of food/treat do you feed?
Was she vaccinated for Marek's?
What does her poop look like?

It could be a vitamin deficiency, neurological/developmental disorder or other illness, Give her some B vitamins -especially Vitamin B2 (riboflavin). You can crush a human B-Complex vitamin and mix it with her food. Provide her food wet (chick starter mixed with water) if she will eat scrambled/hard boiled egg or tuna, you can offer that as well.

The video i have is not allowing me to upload to the site. In the video i nugged her alittle after standing her and she took 2 steps and limped on the right leg than fell over. I did not notice any brusing but will double check when i go home i had to run out. I also was going to see if she dislocated something.

Ok tell me if you see any bruising once you get back, and if there is I can help you (I'm not to sure if it'll work it's just what were doing
