As many of us have done this time of year, I walked into Tractor Supply to buy feed and walked out with 4 chicks! Lol
All were “assorted bantams”. They all have clean legs and 4 toes. All about 2 1/2 weeks old. One I have already ID’d as a golden sebright The other 3 I’m really not sure of. Any guesses would be helpful :)
1st little dude is all black with a white patch on the chest. Grey/Black legs and Already getting a rose colored comb.
2nd is almost all yelow and has yellow legs
3rd is brown and black with yellow/brownish colored legs. Was thinking this one may be an Old English game bantam. Any guesses would be super appreciated

#1. Possible Black OEGB, though there are plenty of options here.
#2. I'm thinking Black Tailed Buff Japanese.
#3. Definitely does look like a Black Breasted Red OEGB, however, they shouldn't have yellow legs.

Thanks for your input.
Yeah, #1, the black one, I was thinking everything from OEGB, to Japanese bantam or a rosecomb.
#2 I had no guesses.
#3 I thought was definitely an BBOEGB but she has odd colored legs. Mostly yellow feet but her legs are more of a mustard brown.
I guess more time will tell for sure :)

I think you are spot on about #2 being a Black tailed buff Japanese!
Thanks

I couldn't resist the draw of a few baby chicks at TSC this year, and I'd love any input on two little mystery bantam chicks. Everyone else is pretty simple to id except these two. They look to be the same breed. They looked white/ yellow with black spots on their backs on day 1. Clean legged as well. My store gets chicks from Hoover hatchery. Maybe Sebrights?
