BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to move Dixie and her Babies to a large dog crate...went from 13 babies to 10, checked next day And down to 8!! They are just So tiny! And there are places in the coop that allow for ventilation and not allowing adults to escape...but apparently sometime during the night the babies much of ventured too close to a space, and got out...or a cat reached in...or maybe a snake? I really don't know for sure, but with a large board and a cinder block they aren't getting paroled anytime soon without my permission!

Dixie absolutely hates me now! I can barely reach in to change the food and water without losing a finger! Somehow she associates me with her missing children and her separation from Romeo.. Poor girl...I might end up selling her so she can find a happy home...she hasn't liked me from the start!

I know for bantams Cochins are in the feather legged class
