I never realized cochins came in so many neat colors. I thought they were just solid colored and boring. They certainly are not. I have heard they are a gentle, sociable breed, and bantams are the perfect size for city living., or hiding in an apartment. Of course going broody is another plus factor.

LOL...nothing boring about bantam cochins for sure! They are the PERFECT backyard chicken for us "city dwellers". They come in a variety of beautiful colors and patterns....and SUPER friendly! Mine chicks will come running up as soon as we come near their brooder. There are 2 that love my hubby and will jump on his hand and settle right down for a good rub. Their small size is perfect for those who do not have a lot of room. Needless to say...I LOVE mine ;-)
