Here are my 4 unsure of colors but think there are 3 hens,1 roo.

The two in the back look like boys. The one in the middle looks like a Porcelain color. The others look to be mixed colors. Very pretty little ones.

Only about 8 weeks.The picture makes the back ones comb loo sharp,but it isn't. The one with the red comb now that is legit,pretty for sure he is a roo.

But I do know that the yellow is a buff (was told the one swith reddish necks were Calico's.

I rescued this little girl 2 weeks ago. Took her to the vet last week and found that she has a vitamin deficiency and much scarring on her right eye due to being bullied by other chickens. She is now on antibiotics, vitamins, and eye drops that should give her her vision back. She has gained weight since I got her and is very happy!

Awww! Glad she is getting better! How do you rescue a chicken? They don't have shelters?

I rescued her from a bad home she was kept in a small dark cage with 2 other standard sized chickens in a barn crowded with animals.

There is a shelter in Minneapolis that rescues them. But they are given a hormone so they don't lay anymore cuz people shouldnt keep them for eggs I guess. Lol

That is strange and... unnatural. most poeple only have chickens for the eggs, how do they rehome them?

I have heard of rescues in europe that take older chickens that just dont lay any more eggs.
