Barred Rock Roo or Hen? 8 weeks

These pics look a bit lighter than she/he is. Looking at the other BR hens around town this one doesn't look much lighter than the adults I've seen. She is standing next to a white rock that is only a day or two older.

ETA: Notice the comb and wattles on the white rock beside your boy...if your BR was a girl, it's comb/wattles would be comparable. At 8 weeks that size comb/wattles paired with the color = Boy

Rooster... Male have more white than black. Females have more black than white.

One way I know for sure is wait a for more weeks and if it crows then ya got a roo. LOL

So sorry...but it looks like a rooster! I have a 12 week old factory sexes pullet in my coop right now and her comb is still very small and fleshed toned. She is one of my few pullets. Right now I have 6 roosters to 5 hens in my coop.
