2 years old and a wonderful protector. We lost 21 hens in 2018 before we got Gandalf.
Since we’ve had him, we’ve never lost a hen to a hawk attack again.
He’s huge, great with kids, cars, goats, cats, dogs, and all other humans.
That being said, he would need large hens because he is so large himself that he is too much for ISA Browns or smaller. We are only rehoming him
