*He's mean, so best for a flock that aren't pets.

Hoping to find a new flock for our Polish Crested Rooster. He'll be 2 years old in May. He's excellent with the hens - he makes sure all the girls stay fertile and doesn't tear up their feathers. The exception is out Barred bantam, and she won't let him near her. She's the top of the pecking order in our flock.

"Chandler" is mean to humans. I've carried him around under my arm, rocked him to sleep, saved him from another rooster who practically killed him... He still comes after me. He can go months without attacking, but then his aggression ramps back up and you cannot turn your back. I've only kept him this long to have fertile eggs for hatching.

If anyone local (Benton, Malvern, Hot Springs, Little Rock, Sheridan) is looking for a rooster just to have fertile eggs, he's a good one. We did hatch some chicks from him last year, and the mix with our Easter Egger was really beautiful.
