best brand of chicken feed?

Chickens don't care if it's chicken... so I don't worry about either. It's not like they're going to have psychological issues over it. As long as the protein came from healthy animals... it could be ground up unicorns for all I care.

only thing I've seen here is purina.. have wanted to try the nutrena and the blue seal but not available.. will have to check with tractor supply also.

What is the difference in feeding a chicken chicken or feeding a chicken eggs? When I had a cockatoo she loved chicken and eggs too lol. It seems strange to us but they don't care.

The only thing available to me is layena/Purina. I have tried a couple of places. I am sure if I really wanted to I could find other brands somewhere, but it would require driving hours one way to get it. As it is the only TSA around me is 50 minutes away.

Yeah, my TSC only sells Purina and Dumor.

Not a huge variety.

I heard about a local coop that sells feed . . . I may find out what that's all about.

Not true I feed mine raw all the time and never had them go for eggs in nest unless one breaks. Egg eating most of the time is from not getting enough protien in diet and or bordom.
