I got my first guineas about 20 years ago, the guy told me that as soon as they feathered out I could turn them loose, they were in a hanging cage so I just opened it up and let them fly out, well that did not go so well them darn fool birds went right into the hog pen and those hogs ate them, needless to say it was a long time before I got guineas again.
