Best thing to bait a trap with

the coons on my property were always drawn to left over cat food (dry) that was set out for the barn cats....

so we would toss a very small amount at the back of the live trap and have been very successful at catching both coons and possums.

I went by to rent a trap and they want $10 a day. That could end up costing more than I could probably buy a trap for. So I decided to look into buying one. So I haven't caught anything yet, in planning stage right now.
