One of my newer pullets received a hard bite to her comb from one of the older hens. I tried hard to get a few photos, but it was tough with her moving so much. I imagine this will heal ok, but I've never dealt with a comb injury before so I wanted to check with all of you. Should I put some kind of treatment on this, or just let it be? Pics are below.
The bite was at the back part of her comb by the base. You can see it's a little black around the bite area, also with a little white ring around the black.
