Finches have cone shaped beaks.

I guess that's that true lol guess I was just thinking the grosebeak was more noticeably so. I've seen the rose breasted here several times they are really pretty.

I pulled out my handy dandy bird id book and looked at the beak/perching bird profiles. The catbird jumped right out at me. LOL

I need to find a bird book lol I'm on my phone like all the time so for me it's simple to look stuff up but sometimes you don't really know exactly what you're looking for or don't know it till you see it type thing so I think a book would be handy for that haha

My Martin houses are so full of babies this year! They are poking their little heads out of the holes. So cute!

We found a cardinal's nest in an apple tree the other day. Only noticed it when mom and dad were trying to coax the young one out of the nest.

Unfortunately a coon killed the 4 robin babies just before they were ready to leave the nest. We aren't coon fans here at all.
