Mist knew it was only a matter of time. Think! She told herself. She knew what helped. If only she could remember. Then, the realization struck her. A wolve's mouth did not have much protection. If only she could get them to eat a bunch of thorns. She remembered that there was an herb that smelled like rabbit's blood. She took a bunch of thorns, then made a mad dash for her herbs.

The barn was silent except for the banging of the canines. Robin and other large roosters fluffed out their hackle feathers and spread their wings wide, starring at the blocked door. They where ready to fight if it came to it.
