The first bird you pictured isn't Andalusian. It's a dark blue check grizzle. I thought the second one was a yellow mottle but I guess it could be an almond. I can't tell from the pic where the flecks are.

The bird in the first pic looked like the young one in the second pic when he was young!Every molt he gets a little darker!

That's probably the coolest thing about almonds - they get heavier flecking with age. Makes it more interesting with each more

Now I just wish I had some almond homers.
