Black Copper Maran hatched out white

Last spring I hatch a white marans from a flock of black marans. I don't hatch anything lower than a 6 in color. I had another chick that half way hatched but didn't make it out. I will hatch again this year and see if I get more. If so I will keep them and see what happens.

BTW The one I hatch turned out to be a roo of course!

I bought BCM hatching eggs off eBay 2015 from a seller stating you could hatch white mutant Marans. Out of 2 dozen I only hatched 1 and it was a all White Cockerel.
Sadly I gave him away thinking he would mess up my BCM Line.

So I had some black and blue copper maran eggs that set under some broody hens. I had 6 hatch out, 2 black, 3 blue, and one that was supposed to be black hatched out white! The person I got them from only had black and blue, there were no white birds in her flock. Is this normal? She doesn't seem to be albino. Maybe leucistic? Has anyone ever had this happen?
I had the same thing happen to me and I'm still wondering about it... following this thread.
