Breed ID help! I recently got my hands on a Black Jersey Giant Roo. Was told from previous owner that he is almost a year old. I’d say in the 8-9 pound range and around 17-20” tall. Spurs just now seem to be growing, only around 1” long Now I know some of the main qualifications for BJG but what do you all think? Do not know what hatchery/breeder the previous owner got him from but could probably ask. Feet look to be pink/yellow from the pic I took. I hope he gets bigger, he’s large but not quite the Giant I was hoping for.

Looks like our Aussie roo and dosen't have the body bulk of a J G
I’ve read that BJG can take up to 2 years to fully grow. His spurs are only 1” after almost a year of growing and this pic of his chest leads me to believe that he still has some bulking up to do. But the feet coloration does throw me off
