I processed my Christmas turkey the other day and he dressed out at a whopping 36 pounds, wow now I gotta find a pan big enough, no fat all meat,

Wow! Never mind a pan, how about an oven big enough? Maybe you'll need to cook it in a pit in the ground like the Hawaiians or dismember it and cook it in pieces. 36 lbs! That is impressive. 24 lbs is the biggest I can handle.

He was impressive and he just fit in the oven, 7 hours to cook. DH asked are you going to stuff the bird said no we would never be able to lift him out of the oven. Will post pics later. We have soooo much turkey and the white meat is so tender and juicy and lots of it, the kind of turkey was a Broad breasted white

Sounds yummy! Need some help polishing off those left overs? There is only ten of us left at home. I like to make turkey sandwiches with craisins, mayo, mustard, red onion, pecans and turkey meat. Add some lettuce and Gouda cheese. We'll bring the home made bread.We had an Indonesian rice meal. Left overs were great tonight.

Your dinner sounds yummy and so does your sandwiches, I mix the cranberry and mayo for the turkey sandwiches, yes come on over we have lots of turkey left over, My DIL loves dark meat so I let her take the rest of that home and of course my DH was getting him some turkey and said what happen to the other leg and thigh, needles to say, he said you did it to me again last year she got all the dark too, lol, like there isn't more on the bird and we still have 1.5 breasts to eat the white meat was so plentiful.. We had 6 adults for dinner so yes lots left over and we have ham too, I fixed way too much food as usual. Oh well no cooking for me for a while,, lol
