Hello, this morning I discovered was taking chicken poop off my porch and found one of these poops had blood in them. My last treatment of worms if that is related was around a month ago. They’ve been eating some of their normal food but have been having some apple, mealworms and prawns as a treat. They’ve had no symptoms prior to today, one had been really sick before but we had that fixed and she’d been fine. The rest of their dropping have been normal but I was unsure whether it was coccidiosis or not.

I will be going to grab some coccidiosis treatment from my local store but if anyone can confirm anything or would be a huge help

Usually most chickens develop a tolerance for coccidia organisms in their soil in the first few months of life. Worms can cause blood in the droppings as well as coccidia. Does your vet do fecal floats on droppings if you bring in some fresh droppings? What did you use for worming and what dosage? What was wrong with the sick chicken that got better?
