Blood on egg shell

She has just started laying a few days ago, she’s laid a total of 3 eggs and they were all with blood. The pictures show two of them, I think the other one had a little bit less.

Hopefully it stops soon.
Not sure what you could do about it.

I know... I feel bad for her, she is tiny and her body is making “fat” round eggs, my neighbor has some bantams and they make elongated “skinny” eggs... still a good amount of blood almost every time. She seems happy and healthy other than that...

Sometimes when new layers expel eggs, they’ll strain a bit and pop a blood vessel, It’s harmless though will leave a stain. However it’s usually a one time thing.

Yes. I’ve been waiting for it to get better. Still getting eggs with blood, but it’s been only a week or so... but she might be healing slowly. I’m hoping.
