This egg pipped last night and has made slow progression to a bigger hole today. The chick is still alive because I can see it moving when I shine a light from the outside.
The blood is concerning to me but this is my first time with an incubator, normally we let our broody hens do it but they’ve gone on strike this Spring
I don’t want to help the chick unless I absolutely have to but I’m not sure about this blood spot and was looking for input. We are approaching the 24 hour mark from first pip.
