Got baby chicks yesterday. They all seem to be doing fine. Except I just saw a shaving with poop that looked a little bloody (pictured). Should I be worried, if so what should I do about it?

Coccidiosis? The chicks are probably 3-4 days old. I have Corid available. Is that acceptable to give to chicks this young? And if so how to dose?

I also have colloidal silver, would this be an effective treatment? And okay for babies?

It would be best to get them all started on Corid right away. Corid 9.6% liquid solution dosage is 9.5ml per gallon of water for 5 days. Make it fresh each day, do not add anything else to the mixture, do not give them anything such as supplements containing Thiamine.
Ensure feces does not contaminate feeders or waterers.
