Are you always on a computer?? I only see male saddles when on my computer, none when on my phone...may just be my eyes though

I just did the math and Pengu is actually 8.5 weeks old at the time of these pics. May or may not make a difference. I will follow up on this post when we know for sure (by making a new post).

Do you have a better picture of the comb? I'd tentatively say cockerel.

Update: Pengu is a confirmed rooster.

This is him at about 4 months old. As a blue Ameraucana, he developed near-black hackle, saddle, and sickle feathers (with some red hackles as well).

Update #2: Took new photos today at 5.5 months old. His rooster feathers are in full swing, and his comb has gotten much larger. It now displays the typical "three rows" of male Ameraucana.

He's a really pretty boy!! I have two self-blues that took until 5.5 months to show their maleness...these guys sure mature slowly! thanks for posting updates! It's always so helpful.
