I am picking some up from Meyer's hatchery and just read they are not cold hearty. I am in Ohio and our coldest temps in winter are generally zero but we rarely see in the 20's actually for most winters. Does anyone know how hardy these guys are in zero?

they will be fine. My roo is a Blue Andalusian and he will be 2 next month. Watch the combs and make sure you have enough ventilation in your coop.

BTW I’m in Ohio too!

I keep them here in Wisconsin. They do fine. They may on occasion get a bit of frostbite on their combs, otherwise they are hardy.

This was just a few weeks ago.
