I wonder what i will get if i breed red blue laced wyandottes hen with a mottled rooster

a mutt. lol. I'd actually love to see that, sounds bizarre.

I love my Barnevelder but I'm team Wyandotte. My Barnevelder is so shy we just can't even interact and I do try.

I breed Barnevelders standard and first year using a Blue rooster! I’ve had so many breeds over the years and my Barnies are my favorite! Never had a mean rooster from them and my hens are super sweet and run up to me.
