Blue Splash Marans Clarification

I’m trying to figure out if “Blue Splash Marans” (sold by Meyer Hatchery) are the same as a “Splash Copper Marans”? Can’t seem to find clarification on the internet. Do they just go by either name??

I have a small flock of Blue Splash Marans that I would like to breed but worried the Splash will become diluted in future generations. If they are the same thing I’d like to get a blue copper rooster to cross over black copper and splash hens.

What is your location? I just hatched a Copper and a Blue. If either turn out to be Cockerels, I'd like them to be Candidates for someone's Breeding program. I can't keep Roos in Portland.

Splash copper and blue splash are two separate colour varieties. "Splash copper" would be a result of breeding blue copper Marans where as "Blue splash" would be a result of breeding blue Marans.
