Blue with dark areas?

Co (Columbian) is not part of the linkage group.

The three that are linked are Pg, Ml, and Db.

This is a table of gene linkages

This version of the genetics calculator has the option to treat Pg, Ml, Db as linked.
Oops! I must have just gotten confused when typing, I use that version of the calculator... so that is where my info would have come from... thanks for pointing out the mistake so hopefully it won’t confuse others.

Is there a list of some/all the genetic abbreviations, and what they refer to? I feel like I could understand some of this a whole lot better if I actually knew what was meant by all the letters. And probably an explanation of what the words mean... like Columbian...

Or a good book to get me started. Chicken Genetics 101?

The chicken calculator usually gives the name of the gene when you click the dropdown box, and when the pictures change they have the name of the color listed there too.

This has links to three pages about chicken genetics.
Page 3 is a table of genes, with symbols, names, and a little bit about them.
Page 1 talks about genetics in general, page 2 has more about some of the specific genes.

Edit to add:
Columbian is both a color pattern and a gene.
Columbian Wyandottes were named for the Columbian Exposition and World's Fair in Chicago (1893).
So that color has been called "Columbian" ever since.
And the Columbian gene is important in making that color pattern.
