Hello everyone. I have hatched out 22 quail 2 weeks ago and so far I have found 4 dead. They all look healthy but when they die they are missing the top half of their beaks and are bleeding. I realize they are bad at pecking. I currently have a blue 75w bulb in with them. It is on 24/7 and doesn't get too hot. So is this "pecking" or what?
If they are pecking is this amount normal and how can I make them not want to peck so much?
