Hello all! My husband and I and our 5 kiddos (ages 2-10, and our sixth due in July) have decided we'd like to raise a small group of chicks this year. We have zero experience, but I've been doing a ton of research and talking with chicken owners I know, so hopefully we do well by our hens.
We live in a quiet suburb on a large lot. We've got plans to build up our veggie garden, we want to have fruit trees, and hopefully grape vines. All in good time!
We homeschool - not pandemic related. We just enjoy it and the opportunity to help teach our kids, see their light bulb moments, and give them ample time to explore their interests and play.
I love to read, primarily fiction. I go in waves with loving baking and cooking, or despising it. My husband is my best friend, and with him is my favorite place to be. I'm excited to get to learn from your wisdom, and someday I'll hopefully have gained enough myself to help others.
