Breed and gender?

These two are 12 weeks and from the same clutch. Thinking the black one is a hen and the other one is a Roo. They're half Australorp, wondering if anyone can tell what the other half might be?

Unfortunately, the hen that laid them had been bred before coming to me, and she hatched these two. The farm they came from has dozens of breeds and isn't sure which bred her, and they don't seem particularly interested in giving me a list. I saw Buff Orpington, Copper Maran, EE's, and mixes of each kind. Suppose it doesn't matter at the end of the day!

I'd say they're EE mixes, going by the pea-ish combs and lack of wattles.
