Hello All

My buddies kids picked out random chicks at the feed store and he's wondering what he ended up with. I told him I know some smart folks on BYC that might be able to help.

Chick #1

Chick #2 (the Black on with it's head up, has black legs) Chick #3 (The white one on the right) Is this a White Rock? Is it a cockerel?

Chick #4 The chick on the door threshold looking left over it's wing.

Any feedback is appreciated.

1= campine
2=?
3= not sure if a white rock but defiantly a roo
4= welsummer would be my guess
Thanks! #3 body seems too big for a leghorn and not quite fat enough for a cornish X. He may endup with the cornish X though if he is a rooster, and he does look like one.

#1 definitely looks like a Campine.
#2 looks like maybe a Black Sex Link. (It's difficult to see, but by the looks of it, it does have some orange feather markings on it's chest.)
#3 looks like a White Rock, definitely Roo.
#4 looks like a Welsummer, unfortunately I don't think the brown feathers look quite right for a Welsummer.

Thank you! Maybe #4 is a poor colored Welsummer from a hatchery?

Chick #1:Golden Campine
Chick #2: Black Sex-Link (since it has copper on its neck)
Chick #3: Likely a White Rock, definitely a cockerel
#4: Partridge Plymouth Rock
