Breed identification

I rescued this little thing from under my neighbors porch with no idea where it came from. I contacted the local wildlife rescue and they told me it is a peafowl. After consulting google, I found pictures of India Blue chicks that looked similar. I have ZERO experience with peafowl. I’m just feeding it chick starter and it wants to cuddle all the time, poor thing. So, can anyone help me positively idea this little critter or help me sex it!?

Maybe something from the guan family but that is not peafowl.

It’s missing feathers, probably from being attacked. There are tiny tiny follicle nubs on top of its head. What is a guan?

Hmm :/ I don’t really see a resemblance there. I’ll get better pictures today. It’s perking up now that it’s had food, water and a dust bath.

Here are the best picture I could get. It just wants to cuddle and isn’t interested in exploring the grass, so I doubt it’s older that 2-3 weeks
