The photo does not show his legs - but given his facial feathering and comb my first guess would be Easter Egger. Can you show his legs or tell us what color they are?

It's not my bird. Someone trying to sell this as an Arucana. But it's not rumpless. Looks like my main flocks EE rooster as well.

I would guess the seller sourced the bird from someone who sold it as such and is ignorant as to the truth. ....which is part of what is so frustrating about the insistence of major hatcheries and, as a result retail stores, perpetuating the misinformation.
