Breeding a black maran hen to blue ameraucana roo, whats the offspring?

So im wanting to breed F1 olive eggers this next year and im wondering if I breed my black maran hens (Straight black coloring not black copper) to a blue ameraucana rooster will the blue/black gene cross and create either blue or black F1 olive egger chicks? Or do they not cross and the offspring will be mixed in coloring? I work with the BBS gene with a few of my breeds but I have never tried breeding two different breeds with this gene together. Sorry if this is a dumb question I have only been breeding for a few years.

BBS is just a set of genes. It works the same on all breeds and mixes. So yes you will get about 1/2 blacks and 1/2 blues.
