If you breed non bearded silkie to bearded silkie what is more dominant what will they all come out bearded
You might get just bearded chicks or you might get some chicks with beards and some without (about half each way.)

The beard gene is dominant. So the chicken with the beard has at least one copy of the beard gene, but it might have two copies of the gene. If it has two copies of the beard gene, it gives one to every chick, and all the chicks have beards. If the bearded parent has only one copy of the beard gene, it gives that to half of its chicks, and gives the gene for no beard to the other half of its chicks.

The parent with no beard has no gene for beard, so it gives the no-beard gene to all the chicks. Since that's recessive, they only have clean faces if the other parent gives the same gene.
