I posted once before about whether or not my three chickens are hens, but someone said that my Ameracauna is an Easter Egger, what’s the difference? Another person said that saddle feathers that tell you if they are a hen or roo come in at 4 months and we are there. Can anyone see if they are hens? Or if my Ameracauna is an Easter Egger? Does anyone know anything about breeds and when they lay eggs?

Not sure about the breeds, but I can answer one question for you still. An Easter Egger is an Ameraucana mix. They look similar and EEs still have the trait that lays multicolored eggs. Ameraucanas are harder to come by and a lot of the time they’re mixed up and you’ll end up with an EE instead.
