Broken/Sprained Toe?

Noticed today that one of our quail has a misshapen toe. She is fully grown and her feet were normal, but I just noticed that the right toe on her right foot is swollen at the joint and is bent toward the middle toe. She isn't really limping but was holding that foot up when sitting.
I don't know if it is a sprain or if it's broken... or even if it is something totally different. Here are some pictures:

Poor baby. You could try splitting it in the right position.
